Kano Isenin Naganobu (1775 -1828)

Kano style painter at the latter part of the Edo period (1603 - 1868).

The 8th head of the Kobikicho Kano school.
Son of Kano Yohsenin Korenobu, the 7th head of the Kobikicho Kano.
Naganobu studied painting under his father.
Later, his father said "My son is superior to me".
Naganobu was ordained as Hoin rank from the Tokugawa Shogunate in 1816, and he called himself "Isenin".
