Yamaguchi Kayo (1899 - 1984)

Kayo was born in Kyoto.
His given name was Yonejiro.
He studied painting under Nishimura Goun from his childhood.
Kayo graduated from the Kyoto Municipal College of Painting.
He was good at painting animals and flowers with realism.
He became a leading figure in Kyoto's art community after World War 2.
