Kano Masanobu (1434? - 1530?)

Painter at the latter part of the Muromachi period.
Patriarch of the Kano school.
Masanobu was born in Izu District.
He became an official painter for the Ashikaga Shogun family that was the leader of samurai during the Muromachi period.
