" Carp Hermit " Painted in 1934

This is large scroll.
It was drawn in the fall of 1934.
It is slightly foxed overall as it was drawn years ago.
There are some small spots.
The top part of back side of the mounting is a little torn, however, you can hardly find it from front side.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
The Carp Hermit (Koi Sennin, Kinko Hermit) is painted well.
We guess the painter acquired painting skills of the Kano style.
The carp hermit is always riding on a carp fish and holding a scripture.
