kason was born in Edo.
His given name is Sotaro, another pen name is Ninsei.
He studied the Maruyama style painting under Nakajima Kyosai, then studied the Kikuchi style under Kikuchi Yosai.
He was accepted for the Naikoku Exhibition and others several times.
He participated in establishing the Nihon-ga Kai.
He was good at painting flowers & birds pictures.
