Description |
This scroll was drawn in the fall of 1854.
It is slightly foxed overall as it was drawn years ago.
There are spots, stains and folds to some extent.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
The Jurojin God, the sun and Tsuru birds (cranes) are drawn well.
The jurojin Divinity is one of the Seven Deities of Good Luck.
The sun and crane birds are also considered as fortunate things in Japan.
This scroll seems to have been drawn by a painter of the Kano school, however,
we are not sure. |
