Description

This scroll was drawn in the late fall of 1926 or 1986.
There are a little noticeable spots and stains on the drawing part.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not so bad.
A Kanji phrase from the Rongo, the analects of the ancient philosopher Kohshi (Confucius), is written with Japanese brush.
The phrase means that "To get money or glory fraudulently is like a floating cloud. I am unenviable at all".
