| Description |
This scroll was painted in the spring of 1912.
(The last year of the Meiji era.)
It is slightly foxed overall.
There are several small worm-eaten holes at the top part of the mounting.
Spots and stains are a little noticeable.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is "not bad" or "so-so".
Although, the drawing is nice.
Ayu fish (Japanese sweetfish) are jumping up a rapid flow under Japanese
maple leaves.
These fish imply a strong vital force. |
