Description

This was painted in the summer of 1817.
It might have been re-mounted.
Anyway, both the roller ends have certainly been replaced.
The scroll is slightly foxed overall as it was painted years ago.
There are slight folds and tears on the mounting.
Some spots and stains on the painting part are also recognized.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
Sagi birds (white egrets) and Hasu flowers (lotus) are painted well.
Please note that this scroll is not authenticated by any appraiser.
