The 8th head of the Kobikicho Kano school.
Son of Kano Yohsenin Korenobu, the 7th head of the Kobikicho Kano.
Naganobu studied painting under his father.
Later, his father said "My son is superior to me".
Naganobu was ordained as Hoin rank from the Tokugawa Shogunate in 1816,
and he called himself "Isenin".

Description |
The scroll is a little foxed overall as it was drawn years ago.
There are some tears on the mounting.
Worm-eaten holes are a little noticeable.
There are some spots and stains on the drawing part.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is not good.
Although, a swimming dragon among the clouds is drawn artistically in the
Suiboku painting method.
Drawn with only black Sumi ink.
