Description

The drawing part is foxed overall as it was drawn years ago.
We estimate it was drawn at the latter part of the Edo period (1603 - 1868).
There are folds and slashes to some extent on the drawing part.
Several tears at the top part of the mounting are recognized.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
Although, Bamboo tree is drawn well in the Suiboku painting method (Drawn with only black Sumi ink.)
This scroll is for Japanese tea ceremony (Chanoyu).
Though, it is also good for hanging in an ordinary room.
