Description |
The scroll is slightly foxed overall as it was painted years ago.
There are spots and stains to some extent.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
Hydrangea (Ajisai) flowers and leaves are painted artisitcally.
There is an appraisal endorsement by Deigyu (Appraiser ?) on the back side
of the lid of the box.
According to it, the painting is certainly drawn by Kobayashi Kokei.
However, we do not know Deigyu's profile at all.
