This is Chagake type hanging scroll.
Chagake type scrolls are hung on the Toko (Tokonoma) of Japanese tea ceremony
rooms.
We estimate this scroll was drawn before World War 2.
It is slightly foxed overall.
There are spots and stains on the drawing part.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
Bamboo is drawn well in the Suiboku painting method.
Drawn with only black Sumi ink.
