Description

We estimate this scroll was painted before the Second World War.
It is slightly foxed overall as it was painted years ago.
There is a slash at the top of the mounting, and, it is already repaired by sticking a paper on the back side.
There are some faint spots and stains in whole.
Some rucks are found on the painting part.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
Although, Japanese dignitary and woman court noble in the Heian Period (794-1192) viewing the landscape are depicted beautifully in the Japanese painting style.
