Description

We estimate this scroll was painted over 50 years ago.
The both roller ends have been exchanged to plastic ones.
There are spots, stains and amotions to some extent.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is not so bad.
The scene is the Battle of Ujigawa River (1184) between Minamoto no Yoshinaka and Minamoto no Yoshitsune.
Two retainers of Yoshitsune, Sasaki Takatsuna and Kajiwara Kagesue competed for the spearhead under the zips of arrows.
This is famous scene.
It is painted well.
