Description

The scroll is rather large one.
It is slightly foxed overall as it was painted years ago.
There are some spots and stains.
Creases on the painting part are a little noticeable.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
Although, the painting is very good.
A Japanese court lady waiting for the court noble in the Heian period (794 - 1192) is painted well.
This scroll was drawn by Tosa Mitsukazu, the last head of the Tosa school.
