The scroll is a little foxed overall as it was painted years ago.
We estimate it was painted before World War 2.
There are spots and stains to some extent.
A tear at the top part of the mounting is already repaired with paper.
Two Futai are cut off, but, it is not unreasonable.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
Although, a Japanese girl in Kimono holding an umbrella is painted very
well and sexily.
The attached Kanteisho (Certificate) issued in 1967 by the Bijutsu Club
proves that this scroll was certainly painted by Ryoka.
