      Baisen was born in Kyoto in the 22nd year of the Meiji era (1889).
      His given name was Shuzo.
      After graduating from the Kyoto Municipal School of Fine Art (Kyoto Shiritsu Bijutsu Kogei Gakko), he became a disciple of Takeuchi Seiho.
      Baisen was accepted for the Bunten Exhibitions for several times.
      He deceased in the 44th year of the Showa era at the age of 80.
