Description |
This scroll was painted in the 18th year of the Meiji era (1885).
There are some spots, stains and folds in whole.
There are a few tears at the bottom of the mounting.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is not good.
Although, a Sansui landscape view in February is painted well using Japanese
brush.
Ume blossoms and Matsu tree are also painted.
Those are considered fortunate creatures in Japan.
A San Kanji poem regarding this view is also written at the top. |
