Japanese style painter flourished from the Taisho era to the beginning part of the Showa era.
Seikan was born in Kobe in the 31st year of the Meiji era.
He studied Japanese painting under Miwada Beinen and Hashimoto Kansetsu.
Seikan was good at painting Sansui landscape views and flowers & birds.
He lived in Sakyo Ward of Kyoto city.

The Arashiyama Valley is renowned for its beautiful scenery in Japan.
