Kohmin graduated from the Osaka Art School while he worked at the post
office.
He also studied the Nanga style painting under Matsunaga Shunyo.
He was accepted for the Teiten Exhibiton.
He established the Osaka Nanga Association and tried to familiarize Japanese
paintings. |

Description |
There are some spots, stains and folds.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
The Horai (Penglai) castle and cranes (Tsuru birds) are painted beautifully
in the Nanga painting style.
The Horai castle is where hermits live.
This scroll looks nice ! |
