We estimate this scroll was drawn over 30 years ago.
There are some spots, stains and creases.
Although, the condition of this scroll is good.
Japanese landscape view is drawn well in the Suiboku painting method with
only black Sumi ink.
This scroll is called the "Chagake" type one.
A Chagake scroll is usually hung in the Japanese tea ceremony room.
Of course, you can also hang it in any room you would like. |
