Had outstainding gifts in composing Japanese poems and studies.
Studied painting under Kyokko Fuchigami.
Received advices from Buncho Tani.
Later, deepened friendships with Sanyo Rai, Hanko Okada, Gyokudo Urakami,
Akinari Ueda and others.

Description |
This scroll was drawn in 1835.
It is the year Chikuden deceased.
The scroll is slightly foxed overall as it was drawn years ago.
There are some spots, stains and creases.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad in consideration of passage
of time.
Sansui landscape view is drawn nicely.
There is a signature of "Denken" which is the other pen name
of Chikuden.
