Description

The scroll is a little foxed overall as it was drawn years ago.
We estimate it was drawn before World War 2.
There are quite a few faint spots on the drawing part.
The both roller ends seem to have been exchanged.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
A Zen phrase in one line is drawn in good form.
The phrase in literal translation is that "Everyday is a good day".
Though, the paraphrase (free translation) is that " Clear the mind of stuffs, simply accept what happened today and enjoy today."
