Description |
This scroll was drawn in March of 1934.
There are a few small tears and holes at the top part of the mounting,
though, those are not so noticeable.
Quite a few faint spots on the drawing part are recognized.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
A Kanji poem about the breast of Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1537 - 1598), the
great Samurai sovereign in the 16th century, is written in good form.
At Kamakura, in front of the statue of Minamoto no Yoritomo (1147 - 1199),
the Samurai leader who established the Kamakura Shogunate, Hideyoshi looked
back on his success story and compared with Yoritomo. |
