      Born in Takehara.
      Nephew of the great poet, Sanyo Rai.
      Went to Osaka with brother Shunsui, and studied poem under Hokkai Katayama.
      Became an official sophist of Geishu Domain.

      It was drawn in the early spring of 1805.
      This scroll must have been re-mounted.
      There are some spots, stains and folds on the drawing part.
      Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
      The Kanji writing is a Kanshi style poem.
      The characters are written in good form.
      Please note that this scroll is not authenticated by any appraiser.
