Description |
We estimate this scroll was drawn over 40 years ago.
There are spots and stains to some extent.
Stains at the bottom part of the mounting are a little noticeable.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
Although, Matsu tree (Japanese Pine) and Tsuru birds (Crane) are drawn
artistically in the Suiboku painting method with only black Sumi ink.
Both Matsu and Tsuru birds are considered as fortunate creatures in Japan.
(Pine needles are always green, Tsuru birds live 1,000 years.) |
