Description

The scroll seems to have been re-mounted years ago.
Although, there are some small grazes and stains on the mounting part.
The painting was done in the Edo period (1603-1868).
It is foxed overall, and there are spots, stains and folds to some extent.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
Although, the sages in a bamboo grove (=Chikurin Shichikenjin-Zu) are painted very well.
This scroll looks so tasteful.
