Seiji was born in Kaifu County of Aichi Prefecture in the 20th year of
the Meiji era.
He established the Aichi-Kai with Ohta Saburo and Kawasaki Shoko in 1918.
In 1920, Seiji traveled to France for study.
In 1923, he became a member of the Kofu-Kai.
He deceased in Tokyo in the 17th year of the Showa era at the age of 55.
There are slight folds on the drawing part.
Two tears are recognized at the bottom part of the mounting.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is not so bad.
A landscape view at Kiso Valley in the summer is drawn well.
Kiso is old-time place-name of Gifu Prefecture.
It's mountainous country.
