Beiken was born in Saitama Prefecture.
His given name is Sugizaburo.
Studied painting under Komuro Suiun and Yamaoka Beika.
Accepted for the 4th Teiten Exhibition in 1922 for the first time.
Accepted for the 6th one in 1925 for the second time.
Totally, accepted for the Teiten Exhibitions several times.

Description

This scroll was drawn in 1927.
There is a stain of scotch tape on the mounting.
There are some spots, stains and folds on the drawing part.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
Sansui landscape view is drawn well in the Suiboku painting method.
A Kanji writing (Gasan) is also drawn.
