Description

The scroll is foxed overall as it was painted years ago.
We estimate it was painted in the Edo period (1603-1868).
There are some small holes at the top of the mounting.
Spots and stains on the painting part are also recognized.
Folds are a little noticeable.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
Although, the Shichifukujin Gods (The Seven Deities of Good Fortune) are painted well.
The Kanji writing is Japanese Waka poem about the Shichifukujin Gods.
The Waka poem is by Akimaro.
As the scroll is yellowed, it looks rather tasteful.
