This scroll was painted in May of 1937.
The painter was 80 years old at that time.
There are only a few slight spots.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is very good.
Kannon (Goddess of Mercy) is painted artistically.
Kanji endorsement on the lid of the original wooden box is also tasteful. |
