Tani Chosen (1886 - 1939)

Chosen was born in Johana Town of Toyama Prefecture.
He flourished as Japanese-style painter and stamp carver in Tokyo and Kyoto.
He also had another pen name "Tanshi" as a Haiku poet belonged to the Kaiko school.
