Description

We estimate this scroll was drawn over 100 years ago.
Unfortunately, stains at the top part of the mounting are a little noticeable.
Spots, folds and small tears are recognized.
Both roller ends were replaced to new ones made from plastic.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is not good.
Although, a Kanji phrase is written in good form.
This is Chagake type hanging scroll.
A Chagake scroll is hung on the Toko (Tokonoma) of Japanese tea ceremony room for Chanoyu.
Of course, you can also hang it on a wall of any room and enjoy.
