      We estimate this scroll was drawn before the Second World War.
      A few small tears are recognized at the top of the mounting.
      There are some small spots and folds.
      As a whole, the condition of this scroll is not so bad.
      A mask of Namahage ogre and Kanji phrase regarding peony are drawn well.
      Adult men wearing Namahage ogre masks on visit each house and look for crybabies and naughty kids.
      It is the Japanese traditional event held on every December 31 in Tohoku area.
