Description

The scroll is slightly foxed overall as it was drawn years ago.
We estimate it was drawn about 100 years ago or more.
There are spots, stains and folds to some extent.
As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so.
DaikokuTen Divinity (one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck) is drawn simply and artistically.
The Kanji characters the above are a Zen idiom that means " Virtues and luck are gathering like a vast sea".
The phrase is from the Kannon Buddhistic Sutra.
This scroll is also good for hanging in a room at Japanese tea ceremony (Chanoyu).
