This scroll was painted in 1926. (The last year of the Taisho era.) There are a few slight spots and stains. And paints are slightly peeled off. Although, the condition of this scroll is good. The phoenix is on the Japanese pine tree (Matsu tree). It was painted very vividly and powerfully. |
