This writing was drawn by Kaigen, the 11th Chief Abbot of the Shinnyo-Ji
Temple in Gamagori city of Aich Prefecture. Shinnyo-Ji is Zen temple. It was drawn when Kaigen was 72 or 73. This writing seems to be drawn over 50 years ago, however, we are not sure. Unfortunately, there are several stains on the drawing part. They are a little noticeable. As a whole, the condition of this scroll is so-so. |
