This scroll was painted before World War 2.
The name of the painter is Eido who was a high-ranking monk of Myoshin-Ji
Temple.
And the characters at the top part were written by Zennyo.
It is slightly foxed overall.
There are some spots and stains on the painting.
Although, the condition of this scroll is not bad.
This is very large scroll.
Accompanied with the largeness of the scroll, the motif Buddha is large too.
So the Buddha is really really powerful.
The roller ends were carved and lacquered with japan.
